Anna used to be the bedroom solo-project of Martin Vidy, a Tours-based musician mostly influenced by Daniel Johnston, Tim Presley and Anna Karina. After having recorded and released three albums of weird, sweet and heavily ingenuous lo-fi pop by himself, Martin is now back with a fourth album, this time recorded live and with a full band. “GUILT” features eight new tracks of bright, meticulously crafted pop music, reminescent of Broadcast, Stereolab or early Beck, with hypnotic and monolithic structures sometimes evoking Krautrock.
