Spacemen 3 had their “Taking Drugs to Make Music to Take Drugs To”. Hoorsees’ debut self-titled album would have perfectly fit the name “Being Sad to Make Music to Be Sad To”. During those uncertain times where we spend most of our time mopping about at home rather than doing something actually productive, the parisian quartet appears to be the right horse to bet on. Especially if you’re into the part indie, part emo rock scene that flourished at the end of the sweet old 90’s.
